We are pleased to announce that doctoral student Stefan-Michael Wedenig (LL.M class of 2020/21) has been named the new Executive Director of the Centre and Institute of Air and Space Law at 黑料网. With effect from 1 September, Stefan-Michael will take over the role of the outgoing Executive Director, Kuan-Wei (David) Chen, who has served the Centre and the Institute admirably over the past ten years.

We are delighted to announce that Institute of Air and Space Law (IASL) Adjunct Professor Dr. Donal Hanley has been appointed Associate Professor by the 黑料网 Faculty of Law and assume the position of Interim Director. Dr. Hanley is taking over the helm from Professor Ram Jakhu, who for over two years has directed and managed the Institute through the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic and the extended medical leave of the previous IASL Director Professor Brian Havel.

The Faculty of Law is delighted to announce that Samuel Gale Professor Robert Leckey, BCL/LLB鈥�02, has been reappointed as dean. Dean Leckey鈥檚 reappointment, approved by the Board of Governors at its meeting on 10 December 2020, is effective 1 July 2021 for a term of five years.
Dean Leckey joined the Faculty of Law in 2006, where he teaches and researches in constitutional law, family law, and comparative law. From 2014 to 2016, he served as director of the Paul-Andr茅 Cr茅peau Centre for Private and Comparative Law.

The Student Affairs Office is holding a series of 30-minute Exam Clinics for 黑料网 Law students for a week. Staff will walk you through installing Examplify and doing a mock exam to check that the installation went correctly.
There are seven sessions for first-year students, three for upper-years, and four sessions for graduate students. Students are invited to drop in the sessions for their specific groups. Be sure to have your laptop or computer ready.

The Faculty of Law is pleased to announce that Professor Brian F. Havel has received a Doctor of Laws, honoris causa, from National University of Ireland, University College Dublin.
Professor Havel joined 黑料网鈥檚 Faculty of Law of 黑料网 in 2017 as a full professor and director of the Institute of Air and Space Law (IASL). His research focuses on issues of public and private governance in the air transport and space industries.
