Program Description
The Master of Science, Applied (M.Sc.A.) in Biotechnology (Non-Thesis) offered by the Institute of Parasitology in the Faculty of Agricultural & Environmental Sciences is a non-thesis program consisting of a course-based curriculum with practical training in laboratory courses and research internships. The program offers training in cell and molecular biology, and protein biochemistry with a strong focus on the molecular and biochemical sciences. It prepares students for entry into the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industries or to further graduate studies in biomedicine, agriculture, or the environment.
