The interactive program kicked off in August and is giving way to powerful idea exchange, learning opportunities, and cross-unit network building, for leaders and their diverse teams.

Essential Skills for New Supervisors

New Supervisors also set out on a 4-month learning journey in late August. The second cohort of “Essential Skills for New Supervisors” is comprised of 60 participants in interactive workshops and learning circles where peer learning is prime, the first cohort launched earlier this year. The mix of seasoned ians and supervisors who are new to makes for valuable learning for all. Newcomers appreciate building their network and the value of learning about the culture early on. Those new to the role of supervisor benefit from exploring their role shift, expanding their network of peers, and learning from the narratives and skills of their experienced colleagues.
