The Faculty of Law is delighted to announce that Professor Vrinda Narain has been promoted to the rank of Full Professor.

A member of the Faculty since 2007, Vrinda Narain’s research and teaching span constitutional law, feminist legal theory, and social diversity and inclusion. She is the author of three monographs and has published extensively in leading journals and edited volumes. She served in the Faculty of Law’s senior leadership as Associate Dean (Academic) from 2016 to 2019. During this term, among other notable accomplishments, she established the Focus Week program – a week of intensive, skill-building workshops taught by leading legal practitioners, offered once per semester.

“Through her engaged and consequential scholarship and her prominent role in public debates, Professor Narain has carved out a role as a leading international scholar of feminist theory and constitutionalism,” said Dean Tina Piper. “I’m thrilled to see this well-deserved recognition of her scholarly achievements and her continued impact on the Law community.”
