In celebration of Queer History Month, the Department of Family Medicine's EDI Committee will be hosting a seminar. Two Family Medicine graduate students, Brigitte Durieux, (they/she) and Joshua Ramos (they/them) will present their research and lead a conversation on the importance of inclusive language, specifically the respectful use of pronouns in academic and professional environments. The seminar is an opportunity to celebrate Queer History Month while deepening our collective understanding of inclusive practices.
