IN-PERSON | Join D2R for a learning opportunity to gain foundational knowledge and practical tools to embed Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) into your genomic-based RNA therapeutics research. Through engaging discussions and activities, participants will explore key EDI definitions, examine both opportunities and challenges in the field, and learn best practices for inclusive research design. By the end of the session, attendees will be able to identify critical moments to integrate EDI principles and develop personalized strategies to foster Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion in their everyday research environments.

About the Speakers

headshot of Mariloue DaudierMariloue Daudier Mariloue is the Senior EDI Advisor for the D2R initiative. She earned a Bachelor’s degree of Social Work from ºÚÁÏÍø in 2013 and a Master’s degree of Social Innovation Management from HEC Montréal in 2016. She has over ten years of experience in EDI projects in many settings, including the social economy sector, community organizations, the private and public sectors. She is regularly invited as a speaker, facilitator, evaluator or trainer to share her expertise in EDI in different contexts.

headshot of Maushumi BahaterjeeMaushumi Bhattacharjee is a Doctor of Civil Law candidate at ºÚÁÏÍø and an Academic Associate at the Centre of Genomics and Policy. Her research explores how legal and ethical frameworks can promote equity, care, and responsibility in emerging areas such as genomic data governance and psychedelic innovation. She brings to D2R a deep commitment to inclusive research practices, mentorship, and the advancement of equity, diversity, and inclusion within the life sciences. Through her work, she seeks to build bridges between law, ethics, and scientific innovation to create fairer and more collaborative research ecosystems.
