EAST 211 001 Introduction to East Asian Culture: China – 2 TA positions at 142 hours/each – Instructor: Professor David Porter

*Hours are dependent on course enrolment


Position Summary:
Reading course materials and attending lectures, holding conferences (discussion groups based on lectures and readings). Grading exams and essays. Miscellaneous tasks such as photocopying, occasional meetings with the Professor to discuss course content and issues focused on grading exams and other related tasks.

Qualifications:
Registered graduate student (M.A. or Ph.D.) at ºÚÁÏÍø. Must hold a B.A./B.A. Honours in Chinese Studies or equivalent.

Hourly rate: $37.34

Position Start Date: August 27, 2025

Position End Date: January 2,Ìý2026
